When you define a product in Shout, there are two places where you can upload images - as a featured image (top of page) and as product images (bottom of page).
The featured image is displayed on pages other than the product page itself. When you click on a featured image, you are taken directly to it's associated product page. You can only have one featured image per product.
Only product images are displayed on the product page. You may upload as many product images as you wish. The first image of all of the products images will be displayed at the top of the product page and the rest will be displayed as thumbnails below it. If a featured image as not been specified, then by default, the first image of the product images will be displayed on the product category page. When you click on this image, you will be taken to it's product page.
