Paypal does include my shipping from shoutcms

There are shipping settings in the back end of Paypal. By default these are blank. However, if you save the shipping settings page those blank settings will be replaced by 0. This then overrides any shipping values that we send to Paypal from Shoutcms.

There are two possible solutions. At this time we recommend Solution A. since takes your Paypal settings closer to the original values. However, if this does not work you can use Solution B.

Solution A

  1. Log into Paypal
  2. Go to My Account via the first item in main menu at the top-left of the page
  3. Go to Profile via the last item in the sub-menu just below the main menu
  4. Go to Shipping Calculations under the third column labelled Selling Preferences
  5. Click the Clear Settings button at the bottom of the page
Solution B

  1. Log into Paypal
  2. Go to My Account via the first item in main menu at the top-left of the page
  3. Go to Profile via the last item in the sub-menu just below the main menu
  4. Go to Shipping Calculations under the third column labelled Selling Preferences
  5. Click the check box at the bottom of the page labelled "Click here to allow transaction-based shipping values to override the profile shipping settings listed above (if profile settings are enabled). "
  6. Click Save button at the bottom of the page
